Life Renewal Retreat
A four-day retreat that serves as the door in. Open to anyone, including those with no intention of joining.

Joining a cell
Attending cell meetings regularly, usually for some months, without any membership status.

Basic formation
The community’s teaching material given within the cell: prayer, Scripture, the sacraments, life in the Spirit.

Further retreats
The Vacare Deo and silent retreats, deepening interior prayer and the Jesus Prayer.

Full membership
Received once basic formation is complete and the member asks for it, through a prayer of reception in the cell.
06
Formation of servants
For those entrusted with serving as cell servants or members of a servants council.
Retreat calendar
Registration stays open until the places are taken. There is no accelerated deadline and no published waiting list; if a retreat is full we keep your name for the next one.

Pertapaan Karmel Ngadireso
Tumpang, Malang, East Java. The birthplace of the community. Simple rooms, a chapel and an open courtyard on the mountainside. Around 80 places.
Rumah Retret Bunda Karmel
Lembang, Bandung, West Java. Used chiefly for Vacare Deo and silent retreats. Around 45 places.
Accessibility
Both houses have ground-floor rooms and step-free routes to the chapel and dining room. Tell us what you need on the registration form.
Cost
An offering covers lodging and meals. If cost is an obstacle, say so on the form; it is treated as private information.
